Sheep playing soccer on Iona
A sticker seen on van awaiting ferry from Iona – with gentle rain…
We caught the first ferry back from Iona to Fionnphort our first morning on Iona because we had forgotten to pay at the car park. The ferryman told us about a free car park a couple of blocks off the main road – the car park charges a pound per hour, but the real kicker is the fine – see photo: £60 for overtime or not having ticket. This must reduce the problem of no pays. Fortunately the collectors come from Oban and they hadn’t gotten there yet! We moved to the free lot for rest of stay.
