The Big Butterfly Count

started Friday. The largest insect survey in the world asks people to spend 15 minutes recording which butterflies they see. Butterfly Conservation has runthe survey since 1976. Britain has 59 species, 3/4 of which are in decline. The story made the national section of Friday’s Guardian. I’ll keep you posted if I find out more.
