The view from Elgol peninsula

We are staying at Coriusk House, a restaurant with rooms (2) in Elgol,, Isle of Skye, which is lovely. The oldest part of the house is the parlor, with a wood stove and candles, where we sat for a while after dinner. It is 500 years old, an original black house, so named because the peat fires inside would turn the interior walls black.
