Heather and Robbie on the train to Glasgow.

They worked at St. Columba’s and were going back to college. The St. Columba’s staff was made up mostly of college kids on summer break, a well-trained and very cute group.
Several others from Iona made the same journey of seven hours, from ferry to Mull, bus across Mull, ferry to Oban on the mainland, then train to Glasgow. At train station I got a taxi to my hotel, luxury!
As a follow up to an earlier post, I invite you to check out Rick Stott’s blog, http://iaskforwonder.com, and read his entry from August 3rd about his week on Iona with the Iona community. I wrote about his sermon 4 weeks ago. He has some lovely things to say about Iona and his time there, as well as a photo and more info about his children of clay.
