Another one. What a spectacle!

The word tattoo comes from the closing time cry in the inns in the Low Countries in the 17th – 18th centuries: “doe den tap toe”, turn off the taps.
The tattoo is set up as a charity, and has given 5 million-plus pounds to service and civilian organizations. Visitors to the tattoo have also contributed some £88 million to the Scottish economy. I would say the locals have to love it!
