Found in Vatican records in 1492, the same year Columbus “sailed the ocean blue.”
This church was rebuilt on site in 1814, with last vicar resident in 1885. The church spans the history of Protestant Reformation. All over Ireland are stories primarily of the Catholic Churches destroyed, shut down, converted, and resistance to such. Makes one think…
